Maersk will open an ICD (Inland Container Depot) in Shin-Sandoh, Ibaraki Prefecture, in 2019 to provide a service that expands the efficiency of inland transportation through the return of imported empty containers, etc.

Note of Pick up of Export Empty Containers
Pick orders (including changes) must be placed by 3:00 p.m. on the previous day.
Note of Return of Import Empty Containers
Be sure to submit the EIR received at CY. If damage is found that Bando deems to be beyond repair, the container may be taken back to the original return destination CY.
