To ensure that we maximise the impact of our social investments, we prioritise the projects we want to support on an ongoing basis. We generally prioritise projects that support the global nature of our business and our desire to create opportunities for global commerce. We have identified two priority causes that we focus on for donations:
Disaster relief & preparedness
We give priority to projects that help alleviate the impact of natural disasters and increase access to essential goods and services for the communities affected.
We give priority to projects that encourage new social and economic opportunities for underprivileged communities through regional and global trade.
We focus on projects that involve reputable third-party organisations or non-government organisations and our key customers. We only consider donations for individuals in exceptional circumstances or when the individual is associated with a reputable third-party organisation.
All of our donation decisions take into account the Group’s reputation and values. We do not support initiatives, projects or groups that we believe do not match our values or live up to our company policies
