The reefer website has paved the way for two-way communication with customers.
A couple of months back, Maersk Line introduced a whole new online reefer universe. The aim is to provide a platform for sharing information and knowledge with our reefer customers and partners. However, it is not supposed to be a one way communication channel to customers, so we created the Reefer Expert Panel.
The panel of experts aims to engage with readers by sharing technical knowledge, which will then help our customers and us have a dialogue that benefits our customers and their cargo. To ensure two-way communication with our customers, we decided that they should be able to comment on the blog posts and that we would display these on the site as well. At first, we were worried that this would be an open forum to criticise Maersk Line. Customers, however, have responded positively, and the concept has been well received in the reefer industry. In fact, the blog posts were among the most visited pages on the reefer website in August.
