Ice situation in ports of Odessa and Ilyichevsk

m/v Maersk Tangier voyage 1205/1206

Dear Valued Customers,

As you all are aware currently approaching channels and harborage of ports of Odessa and Ilyichevsk are covered with heavy ice which creates difficulties for safe passage without risk for vessel and cargo.

In these force majeure conditions we were considered about several workable solutions and in order to minimize negative impact and risk for the cargo and vessels, and we made the following decision:

• m/v MAERSK TANGIER has been diverted to Ambarli port, preliminarily Ukraine import cargo will be kept on board till the next vessel call Ukraine either transshipped to another vessel calling Ukraine
  
  
• Export cargo that was booked for m/v MAERSK TANGIER will be re-planned to the m/v MAERSK TORINO (voyage 1206 )

We are doing our best to ensure safe delivery of your cargo and minimize delay.
