Dear Valued Customers,
As you all aware currently ports of Odessa and Ilyichevsk are blocked with heavy ice which creates difficulties for safe passage through approaching channels without risk for vessel and cargo.
In these force majeure conditions we were considered about several workable solutions and in order to minimize negative impact and risk for the cargo and vessels, and we made the following decision:
m/v SAFMARINE KARIBA will fully discharge import cargo in port of Ilyichevsk, where you will be able to collect your cargo, Odessa import cargo will also be discharged in Port of Ilyichevsk as there is a high risk that ice conditions will not let vessel to be berthed in port of Odessa.
m/v MAERSK TORINO has been diverted to port of Constanta, where Ukraine import cargo will be transshipped to the next vessels calling Ukraine.
Export cargo that was booked for m/v SAFMARINE KARIBA from Odessa will be re-planned to the m/v MAERSK KINLOSS (voyage 1203)
Loading of Export cargo that was booked for m/v SAFMARINE KARIBA from Ilyichevsk is subject to Terminal productivity
Export cargo that was booked for m/v MAERSK TORINO will be re-plannedto the m/v MAERSK TANGIER (voyage 1206 )
