Carriers Haulage provided by Maersk Line

Dear Customers,

Hereby would like to inform you, that because of the significant and not suggestible changes in the conditions of road transportation, starting from 1 October, 2004, the waiting time for carriers haulage provided by Maersk Line will change as following:

Waiting time for trucks	4 hours free, afterwards EUR 20 per started hours

Our customers are given a 4-hours-free period starting from the arrival of the container to stuff/unstuff the container and for customs clearance. After the free period, we will charge you waiting time with the amount of EUR 20/started hours.
The transit time between the stuffing place and the customs is not counted into the free period.

In case a truck arrives 30 minutes later, than the ordered time to the stuffing place, the free period will increase by 1 hour after every 30 minutes of delay.
In case a truck arrives 2 hours (or more) later, than the ordered time, we will not charge waiting time, but if the stuffing/unstuffing and the customs clearance of the container is finished the next day, EUR 150/ day will be charged.

Therefore we would like to ask for our import customers to order the containers for an exact time. In case customs clearance is needed, please state the time, when the truck shall arrive to the customs; in other cases the time given is to be the arrival time to your site.

Any modifications on previously sent orders need to be sent to us latest until 3pm before the day of stuffing/unstuffing.
