Middle East to Tunis Rades port, TN - Congestion Surcharge

Dear Valued Customers,

Continued delays of up to a week in the Port of Tunis Rades since the beginning of 2011 and no immediate solutions provided to reduce these delays, has forced Maersk Line to proceed with the implementation of a Tunis (Only Import) Congestion Surcharge.

The effective date: 1 September 2011
Scope:  Covers all cargo to the Port of Tunis Rades.
Quantum: USD 100/TEU.

The Congestion Surcharge will be removed as soon as we register an average waiting time below three days for four consecutive weeks.
