Maersk Line wins 5 awards for 'Best Performance' at the 15th Annual CONCOR North-West Region Awards

Maersk Line won 5 awards for its Export/Import volumes (TEUs) achieved during FY 2010-2011 at the recently-held 15th Annual CONCOR North-West Region Awards.

Maersk Line won the 'Best Performance' award as under:

- First Prize (Shipping Line) - ICD Sabarmati / Khodiyar
- First Prize (Shipping Line) - RCT Vadodara
- First Prize (Shipping Line) - PSCT Pipavav
- Second Prize (Shipping Line) ICD Ankleshwar
- Fourth Prize (Shipping Line) CFS Gandhidham

The CONCOR North-West Region Award aimed to felicitate the top performing (in volumes) exporters, importers, CHAs, shipping lines and domestic cargo movers in the North-West region for FY 2010-11. The award function was held at Karnavati Club, Ahmedabad, on September 3, 2011, and was attended by several dignitaries including Mr Shashi Bhushan Singh (Commissioner - Customs, Ahmedabad), Mr Anil Gupta (Managing Director - CONCOR India) and Mr Amit Kumar (Chief General Manager - CONCOR, North West Region), amongst others.

The Ahmedabad Sales Team received the award on behalf of Maersk Line at the hands of Mr Shashi Bhushan & Mr Anil Gupta.

The CONCOR North-West Region includes the Pipavav Port Side Container Terminal, Khodiyar Inland Container Depot, Ankleswar Inland Container Depot and Vadodara Rail Container Terminal amongst others.
