Kaohsiung : Weather is improved and port was resumed at noon today. TP7 Maersk Drury was delayed due to rough sea condition with ETB/ETD tomorrow between 0700-1600.

Typhoon Saola is now 60 km east of Hualien (Taiwan) and it is still moving in the general direction to the coast of Fujian/Zhejiang.
With typhoon Saola being closer and closer, terminal operations for different ports are impacted as described below:
Taipei : Inbound pilot service was suspended since yesterday. No impact to ML.
Kaohsiung : Port was closed from 4 o' clock this morning and all terminal activities were suspended. TP7 Maersk Drury was delayed due to rough sea condition and tentative ETB/ETD for her is tomorrow between 0700-1600. It's berthing has been prioritized once port resumed.
Fuzhou : Typhoon signal no.1 was hoisted in this morning. Inbound and outbound pilot services have been suspended. Berthing arrangement for FEW2 Maersk Cunene was cancelled and vessel omitted Fuzhou as per contingency plan.
Xiamen : Terminal operations are normal now
Ningbo : Typhoon signal no.3 was hoisted in yesterday while terminal operations are normal now.
Shanghai YS : Inbound pilot service was suspended from this morning. Outbound pilot is OK now but expected to be suspended around 6 pm today.
Shanghai WGQ : Pilot service is normal now while expected to be suspended around 18 pm today.
Qingdao : Terminal operations is normal now.

Typhoon Saola is now 180 km east/north-east of Taipei, which has the following impact on the operations of Maersk Line:
Taipei port: Inbound pilot service is suspended.
Fuzhou port:Inbound pilot service is suspended, but vessel operations are still normal. Berthing arrangement for FEW2 Maersk Cunene is cancelled and the vessel will omit Fuzhou as contingency.
Ningbo port: Operations are normal, but pre-caution measures are expected from tomorrow, August 2nd.
For Kaohsiung, Xiamen and Shanghai, the operations are not impacted.
