Introduction

History

A.P. Moller-Maersk Group established in Argentina in 1994 through Maersk Argentina S.A. with an initial staff of 15 people and a fortnightly service from/to Europe.

By June 1995 there was a weekly service and intermodal coverage for Paraguay.

Maersk Line has direct representations (own offices) in Buenos Aires and has port activities through third parties in Mar del Plata, Puerto Madryn, Puerto Deseado, Ushuaia, Zárate, Bahía Blanca and San Antonio Este.

Today, the A.P. Moller-Maersk Group has grown to 450 employees divided into 5 companies: Maersk Argentina SA, APM Global Logistics Argentina SA (Damco), South America Trucking, Agencia Marítima Safmarine SA y Terminal 4 SA.
