Export Detention & Demurrage Tariff rates effective November 1, 2009

Effective November 1, 2009 Maersk Line will be applying New Zealand export Detention and Demurrage charges. The tariff rates for these will be set as per below:

Export Detention

7 days free time, thereafter...

*Calculated from Gate Out Empty date to Gate In Full date, inclusive.

Export Demurrage - Inclusive of Detention component
Tauranga/Napier/New Plymouth/Wellington/Nelson/Lyttelton/Timaru Port:*

7 days free time, thereafter...

*Calculation includes day prior to vessel commencing cargo operation.
*Demurrage Tariff for these ports covers the detention component, port storage and Reefer power and monitoring

Auckland/Port Chalmers Port:**
7 days free time, thereafter...

** Calculation includes day prior to vessel commencing cargo operation.
** Demurrage tariff covers the Detention component and Reefer power & monitoring only. These ports have separate arrangements for storage directly with cargo owners.
