Since commencing liner operations in Australia in 1993, Maersk Line has grown to become one of Australia’s leading container shipping lines. With coverage of the five key Australian ports and integration into Maersk Line’s global service network, Maersk Line offers our customers the largest and most comprehensive coverage for port to port business activities in the world.
We currently offer five separate fixed-day services from Australia.
Our Oceania Pendulum Service (OC1) links East Australia with the Americas. It is complemented by our participation in the US West Coast consortiums.
Our Boomerang Service connects Australian ports with two key economic areas in Asia. The North East Asian loop provides direct coverage of Japan, Korea, China and Taiwan. The South East Asian loop offers access to our global network through the transhipment hubs of Singapore and Tanjung Pelepas, offering a vast range of products for South East Asian, Middle Eastern, European and African destinations.
Our dedicated Trans Tasman Service, the Southern Star Express, complemented by the Oceania Pendulum and the US West Coast consortiums, offers one of the most comprehensive Trans Tasman products in the market, with a wide coverage of New Zealand ports.
Maersk Australia Pty Ltd strives to employ the most experienced and dedicated people to ensure that only the highest quality service is offered to our clients. Our staff currently number around 250, and is dispersed throughout our four regional sales offices located in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Fremantle. Customer service professionals are situated in our Customer Service Centre in Brisbane for fast, efficient and reliable assistance.
In addition to being our sales office for NSW, Sydney is also home to Maersk Line’s head office activities in Australia.
