Freetime & demurrage

Container demurrage at terminal:

Three (3) free working days for Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney and Fremantle. Thereafter Terminal will charge the consignee direct on a pay per day basis.

Reefer cargo 3 working days  (day of discharge excluded)
Charges per calendar day after free-time
Please contact your Maersk Line Sales representative for demurrage incurred after 3 days

Container Detention

The following container detention charges apply if container is not returned with in free time. Please note that days are counted as calendar days excluding public holidays.
