Demurrage

Export demurrage is charged for the time a container spends in the export port beyond the allowed free time. The clock starts when the containers are gated in at the terminal, full for export, and stops when the containers are loaded full on the vessel. Detention

Export detention is charged for the time a container remains at our customer's premises beyond the allowed free time. The clock starts when the container gates out empty to be positioned for stuffing at a customer's warehouse. The clock stops when the container gates in at the depot full for export. Below you will find the curernt free time and rates for export detention.

Import

Demurrage

Import demurrage is charged for the time a container spends at port or inland depot beyond the allowed free time. The clock starts one day after the container is discharged from the vessel, and stops when the container gates out for delivery.

Import detention is charged for the time a continaer spends at our customer's premises beyond the allowed free time. The clock starts the day after the container is gated out for delivery from the port of inland depot, and stops when the container is gated in empty.

Waiting Time

Customers (carrier haulage only) will have 6 hours free to strip or stuff containers. Waiting time starts after 6 hours. If imports combined with exports, customer has 12 hours.

• 7 to 12 hours - USD 25 per hour
• 12 to 24 hours - USD 200 (flat fee)
• 24 hours onward - USD 200 per day started

Port Storage

Charged directly by the port to the customers in accordance with agreement between port and customer.
