Demurrage and Detention

Definition:

Name of the period	Start	End
Export Detention period	day when empty container has been picked up from the Agent (gate out date)	day when laden container has been delivered to the Agent (gate in date)
Export Demurrage period	day when laden container has been delivered to the terminal (gate in date)	day when laden container has been loaded from the terminal to the vessel
Import Demurrage period	day when laden container has been discharged from the vessel to the terminal	day when laden container has been picked up (gate out date)
Import Detention period	day after the date when laden container has been picked up from the Agent (gate out date)	day when emptry container has been delivered to the Agent (gate in date)

Note: for Vladivostok, Vostochny, Korsakov, Magadan detention period starts the next upon discharge date of laden container and ends with empty container delivery to the Agent
