1959 - MaerskLine starts operating in the UAE with Kanoo Shipping

Oct 1992 - Maersk Kanoo (UAE) LLC formed as sole agent for MaerskLine

Oct 1995 - Branch opened in Abu-Dhabi

Jul 1996  - Maersk Logistics (Mercantile) established in Jebel Ali

Jun 1999 - Jupiter Drilling Corp. (Maersk Contractors) established in Jebel Ali

Oct 2001 - Maersk A/S West and Central Asia established in Dubai

Jan 2002 - Branch opened in Sharjah

Mar 2003 - Launch of Air Freight Office in Dubai cargo Village
