Inland location / Off-Dock Terminal Movement

Restriction in change in Delivery Mode/Place (COD) 


  • The shipper needs prior approval from Pakistan Customs in case of Change in Destination (different country) of his shipments.

  • Amendment of Change in Destination (COD) is quite difficult and cumbersome for which shipper should take prior approval from Customs. Line cannot process any such requests without Customs consent. 

  • Customer needs to be prepared for the extensive time and follow-up required for getting his COD case approved from Customs.

Personal Effects 

At present personal effects are not carried by Maersk line

  • Reefers are only accepted in Port Qasim yard. Reefers delivered from PICT and KICT can be returned to PMS KPT yard also. However, they can be accepted from inland points on case to case basis. Please contact (ali.awan@maersk.com) for further details.

  • For all containers pay load should NOT exceed the weight limit mentioned on the CSC (container safety certificate) plate

  • Special Equipment are ONLY accepted/provided from QICT and KICT

  • DG cargo NOT allowed through Rail/Truck to inland Location

Afghanistan Commercial Cargo 

Cargo for/from Afghanistan acceptable on merchant haulage basis only.
