Restrictions: In accordance with the EU foreign ministers’ recent decision to expand the restrictive measures against Burma/Myanmar, we have ceased acceptance of export acceptance of products from the timber, mineral and precious stone industry has been extended to apply to all Maersk vessels, including those flagged outside the EU, as we do not find it operationally feasible to ensure all shipments are moving non-on EU flagged vessels only throughout the transportation. For imports to Myanmar, acceptance will with immediate effect be limited to shipments of milk powder and aid cargo.
