1947 Japan branch opened.
1948 Yokohama office opened. 
1949 Osaka office opened. 
1950 Head office moved to Fukoku Seimei Building.

1962 Company name renewed to Maersk Line Limited. 
1964 Mr.A.P. Moller was awarded prize by Japan government Ministry of Transport (current Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism). 
1981 Foundation of Maersk Line K.K. 
1986 Leasing of Tokyo Ohi 3 Terminal started. 
1987 Establishment of Maersk Logistics. 
1988 Operation of own terminal started at Kobe Rokko Island.
