Detention Tariff

Import Detention: Import detention is charged from the same day of discharge (Gate In for ICD locations) of the container at the destination till return of the empty container to Maersk Line and is charged on a progressive slab.

Import Demurrage: Demurrage (CFS ground rent) and CFS handling charge in India paid by the consignee directly to the CFS.
Demurrage (Port Ground Rent), when collected by the Line is a recovery of the actual charges applied by the Port. 

Export Detention: Export detention is charged from when the empty container is picked up for export stuffing till the time of Gate In at the Port or the Inland Container Depot (ICD)
