Introduction


Maersk Hong Kong Limited, a member of the A.P. Moller - Maersk Group, was established in 1975 to act as general agents for Maersk Line's services, connecting Hong Kong and Macau with all major trade origins and destinations.  In 1999 Maersk Line acquired Sea-Land Services Inc., and the company is now marketed under the trade name Maersk Line.

Maersk Line offers the most extensive service network in Hong Kong.  As well as sailing to the major ports of the U.S., Europe, South America and Asia, Maersk Line vessels call on the bustling harbours of the Mediterranean, the Middle East, the Indian Sub-continent, Africa and Australia.  Maersk Line also offers services to newly emerging markets as Eastern Europe and Commonwealth of Independent States (C. I. S.).
