Introduction

The Khalifa Bin Salman (KBSP) terminal serves the city of Manama and its industrial suburbs. This terminal has a total quay length of 1800 meters. Out of this the conventional berth is 900 meters wherein three vessels with general cargoes / livestock / cruise vessels / big car carriers can berth.

Foodstuff and consumer goods top the imports list, while aluminium products constitute the bulk of the country's exports.

Maersk has had a presence in Bahrain since 1950s. The present agent for Maersk Line, Maersk Kanoo Bahrain WLL was formed in the year 2000 as a joint venture between AP Moller Maersk Group and Yusuf Bin Ahmed Kanoo WLL. The office is located in the Seef Business District - 29th Floor, Al-Moayyed Tower.

Maersk Line has its own dedicated weekly feeder service linking Bahrain / KBSP to its main transhipment hub at Jebel Ali. Maersk Kanoo Bahrain has been commended by its customers for its service reliability and operational excellence.
