Introduction

Maersk Sierra Leone started its operation under the Sierra Leone Shipping Agencies; then as Star Marine in 1996 and in 2003 Maersk Sierra Leone became a Registered Company with offices in Bathurst Street in the West End of Freetown, where it is accessible to its customers. Maersk Sierra Leone is acting as agent for Maersk Line and Safmarine, which are part of the A.P. Moller – Maersk Group.

Maersk Sierra Leone provides sea transportation to its numerous customers four times monthly. We offer quality export/import services to our customers. Our staff is well trained and have a wealth of experience in the shipping industry to handle customer's needs.

Shipping with Maersk Line means that the customer can find out at any point in time the whereabouts of their containers. Our office is equipped with IT facilities that can find the cargo at the customer's request. Maersk Sierra Leone also stuff and unstuff containers for export and import respectively.
