Maersk Line is continuously making strides towards improving our service offerings. Our newest initiative has simplified our North American service network, including port and intermodal coverage. The resulting product is a comprehensive service network designed to offer cost effective, reliable inland transportation ensuring coverage of key intermodal service points. By aligning inland traffic to specific ocean port gateways, it enables us to reduce the number of inland routing options. In addition, we are driving inland transportation through key corridors taking the complexity out of the network while increasing end-to-end transportation reliability. This ensures your cargo will move consistently and arrive at your inland location on-time, every time.
This redesigned North American service network offers a cost effective product which will significantly reduce the likelihood of service disruptions, thereby creating a seamless supply chain with production schedule confidence.
In addition to our ocean liner products, our Maersk family of affiliated businesses can fulfill most all your trucking and logistics requirements. For more information on these services, please see the Logistics section of this product guide or contact your local Maersk representative.
